Prathamesh Parab-starrer Ek Number Super to be released on 1 April, to clash with Me Vasantrao

The Marathi-language adult comedy was supposed to arrive in theatres on 28 January.

The Prathamesh Parab-starrer Ek Number Super was supposed to arrive in theatres on 28 January but its release got postponed due to ‘technical reasons’. Now the actor has revealed in a Facebook post that the movie will hit the screens on 1 April on the occasion of Gudi Padwa.

Also starring Milind Shinde, Ganesh Yadav, Nisha Parulekar, Abhilasha Patil and Rishikesh Dhamapurkar, Ek Number Super is another adult comedy by Milind Zumber Kavde.

Kavde's adult comedy Takatak (2019) was a runaway hit. He has also completed shooting the sequel of the film. Both movies star Parab.

Speaking about the film last year, Kavde had said in a statement, “The audiences will realize that the title is apt when they watch the film. I am very confident that audiences will appreciate the way I have handled mystery alongside comedy.”

Ek Number Super will clash with the big-ticket Marathi film Me Vasantrao. Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, the film is based on the life of the legendary classical singer Vasantrao Deshpande, who is portrayed by his grandson Rahul Deshpande.
