Anupam Kher to feature in Vidyut Jammwal's maiden production venture IB 71

After basking in the success of his recently released movie The Kashmir Files (2022), veteran actor Anupam Kher has now begun shooting for his 523rd film, which has been tentatively titled IB 71 and stars Vidyut Jammwal.

Kher took to Twitter and unveiled the first look of his and Jammwal's characters from the film. "And I start my 523rd film IB71 with the highly talented and heartwarmingly humble Vidyut Jammwal! His company Action Hero Film1 produces it (sic)," Kher wrote. 

Helmed by Sankalp Reddy, the espionage thriller marks Jammwal's maiden production venture under the company Action Hero Films, which he launched in partnership with Abbas Sayyed. The makers tweeted a video of the young actor welcoming the veteran artiste to the sets.

IB 71, which went on floors in January this year, is reportedly set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Jammwal will essay the role of an Intelligence officer in the film. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast and other. Jammwal's Action Hero Films is collaborating with Reliance Entertainment and T-Series for IB 71.
