Gully Boy rapper Dharmesh Parmar, better known as MC Tod Fod, dies at 24


 Actors Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar mourned the artiste's tragic and untimely demise.

Gully Boy (2019) rapper Dharmesh Parmar, popularly known as MC Tod Fod, died on 21 March. He was only 24 years old. The cause of the artiste's death has not been revealed yet.

Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi, who starred in Gully Boy, paid tribute to the late rapper, who performed the rap track 'India 91' for the film.

The actors shared pictures of the hip-hop star on their Instagram stories. 

Chaturvedi also shared the screenshot of a conversation he had had with MC Tod Fod.

MC Tod Fod was associated with Mumbai's multilingual hip-hop group Swadesi.

Swadesi's label Azadi Records and management company 4/4 Entertainment confirmed the news of the rapper's passing on social media. 

MC Tod Fod's song 'The Warli Revolt' was a major hit. He had also featured in many singles such as ‘Plandemic’. His most recent single ‘Truth and Bass’ was released on 8 March.
