Tarsem Jassar-starrer Mera Laung Gawacha is set for a September release

While the Punjabi-language film has been written by Inderpal Singh, other cast and crew details have been kept under wraps.

Punjabi singer-actor Tarsem Jassar has announced the release date for his upcoming film Mera Laung Gawacha.

The film is now set for release on 16 September 2022. The actor shared the news with a poster for the film on Instagram.

The creative shared by Jassar features a raised drawbridge with a woman and a man on either side, suggesting that the film is a romantic tale about finding love.

Produced by Manpreet Johal and Ashu Munish Sahni, the film has been written by Inderpal Singh, who has also written the films DSP Dev (2019), Bomb Jigra (2019) and Dakuaan Da Munda (2018), among others. But the director and other cast and crew details have not been shared yet.

Galwakdi, starring Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi, set for release on 8 April

Jassar also has another film lined up for release. Galwakdi, which was earlier supposed to be released on 31 December 2021, was postponed due to the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The film, co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi, is now slated to be released on 8 April.
