The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the unhinged antagonist, which seems inspired by his Kick (2014) character.
Heropanti 2 trailer: Tiger Shroff must save the world from a dreaded cybercriminal

Tiger Shroff was launched by producer Sajid Nadiadwala in Heropanti (2014), which was directed by Sabbir Khan. The sequel, Heropanti 2. has been helmed by Ahmed Khan.
But after watching the trailer of the movie, it seems that it really doesn’t matter who the director is because the film is a typical Tiger Shroff-starrer.
The more-than-three-minute trailer shows that this is yet another good-versus-evil story. This one is about a twisted magician cum cyber-crime expert Laila (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who has created havoc in the world. The only person to stop him [obviously] is Babloo (Shroff), who is also wanted by various international agencies.
The trailer makes it clear that Heropanti 2 is yet another film where the actor will be seen bashing up baddies and doing all kinds of acrobatics; something he has done throughout his eight-year-old career.
Siddiqui’s character is copy-pasted from Kick (2014), manic laughter and all. That film marked Nadiadwala’s directorial debut and he had also produced it. Heropanti also marked the debut of Kriti Sanon. But Heropanti 2 stars Tara Sutaria opposite Shroff. Her antics in the trailer are irritating, to say the least.
Heropanti 2 will be released on 29 April on Eid.
