The second single from Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata – 'Penny' – will be out on 20 March, its makers announced on Thursday via a poster.
The announcement comes after the grand success of the first single 'Kalaavathi', which has garnered over 90 million views on YouTube.

'Kalaavathi', which was sung by Sid Sriram, was released for Valentine’s Day and was an instant chartbuster.
Mahesh’s daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni in her recent instagram post danced to 'Kalaavathi'. Sharing the video, she dedicated it to her father.
“My go at Kalaavathi! This one's for you Nanna (sic),” Sitara wrote.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which features music by SS Thaman, will be released on 28 May. Directed by Parasuram, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh. It marks the maiden collaboration between Mahesh and the filmmaker.
Mahesh was last seen on screen in Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), which was a blockbuster. The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, raked in over Rs200 crore at the box office.
