Abhishek Banerjee to star in Laxman Utekar's production venture Nazarandaaz

After landing the lead role in the Voot Select web-series The Great Weddings Of Munnes, Abhishek Banerjee is headlining Laxman Utekar's latest project, Nazarandaaz.

The feature, which went on the floors earlier this week, is being helmed by Vikrant Deshmukh and marks his directorial debut. The actor shared a glimpse of the shoot on Instagram.

Speaking about the upcoming feature, Banerjee said, “[I’ve] started shooting for Nazarandaaz, produced by Laxman Utekar and Karishma Sharma’s company Kathputli Films along with T -Series. It’s going to be directed by Vikrant Deshmukh. It’s a very good script and everyone will get to see an unusual jugalbandi between me, Kumud Mishra and Divya Dutta; this film is all heart.”

Last December, Banerjee launched his own production house with producer Shwetaabh Singh titled Freaks to give a voice to young artistes from across the country. He will also be seen in projects such as Bhediya, Aankh Micholi and the Telugu thriller Runway later this year.
