Sci-fi series Halo, featuring Shabana Azmi, to be premiered on Voot Select on 24 March

The main cast of the show, which is based on the franchise created by the US video game developer Bungie, includes Pablo Schreiber and Natascha McElhone.

The Paramount+ original series Halo (2022) will be premiered on Voot Select on 24 March for Indian audiences. Based on the popular franchise created by the US video game developer Bungie, the upcoming series dramatizes an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.

Veteran Indian actress Shabana Azmi is part of the main star cast that also includes Pablo Schreiber as the protagonist Master Chief, a genetically engineered supersoldier known as a Spartan; Natascha McElhone as Dr Halsey, the creator of the Spartans; and Jen Taylor as Cortana, the most advanced AI in human history.

Azmi plays Admiral Margaret Parangosky in the international series which also features artistes Bokeem Woodbine, Natasha Culzac, Olive Grey, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Ryan McParland, Burn Gorman and Fiona O’Shaughnessy. Watch the trailer here.

Halo is produced by Showtime in association with 343 Industries, along with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. The series is being distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
