The second season of the SonyLIV show Undekhi hints at a third season in the final episode. Ankur Rathee, who played Daman Atwal in the show, has also dropped a similar hint.

“Given the audience response, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another season,” he said in a statement. “I was especially pleased to hear how many enjoyed Daman's character arc this time. His divided loyalties pushed him to take unexpected actions. I can only imagine Daman still has a lot to prove as an Atwal.”

Also starring Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Surya Sharma, Harsh Chhaya, Anchal Singh, Apeksha Porwal, Ayn Zoya and Sayandeep Sengupta, Undekhi saw the addition of Meiyang Chang and Nandish Sandhu to the cast in the second season.

Rathee was happy and pleasantly surprised by the rapport on the sets. “You will not find a more heart-warming group of people,” he said. “You know, I have been on a lot of sets where jealousy runs rampant, but ours is a cast that truly supports each other. Even the other day I called up Nandish and Anchal separately for some help with an audition. This group is there for each other.”

Undekhi sees Rathee’s character getting married to Anchal Singh’s character Teji in unusual circumstances. “Anchal is so eager and earnest, two qualities that are a blessing for any scene partner," Rathee said. "And it really helps that we feel comfortable laughing at and with each other. There is no ego in the room.”

Rathee also revealed that he would be tying the knot in real life as well. “I’m planning to get married soon; that’s been a type of character prep in itself!" he joked. "The transition of fiancée to wife is something that I'm currently navigating, and that experience has been very helpful in constructing Daman and Teji's relationship this season. [Actress] Anuja [Joshi] and I are very different, of course, but some dynamics are universal.”
