MX Player’s Roohaniyat, starring Arjun Bijlani and Kanika Mann, set for premiere on 23 March; see trailer

The upcoming MX Player web-series Roohaniyat (2022), starring Arjun Bijlani and Kanika Mann, is a tale of two opposites. The series, directed by Glen Barretto and Ankush Mohla, will be premiered on 23 March.

The MX Player original challenges the notion with a theme that asks ‘Is Forever Love A Lie’. The young and naive Prisha (Mann) meets arrogant businessman Saveer (Bijlani) and sparks do not fly initially. Both are dealing with personal heartbreaks and clash several times. The series looks at whether a jaded cynic like Saveer can be saved by a hopeless romantic like Prisha.

Speaking about Roohaniyat, actor Bijlani said, “Shooting for this series has been an amazing experience. This show is all about finding answers to whether love forever exists. This is not your usual love story. It has twists and turns that no one expects. I can’t wait to see the audience reaction to the trailer.”

Mann added, “When I read the script of Roohaniyat, it had me hooked from the start. Prisha is an unpredictable girl who believes in the concept of true love and soulmates. I could relate to that character, being a hopeless romantic myself. I hope the audience enjoys the series and appreciates our work.”

The romantic mystery drama also features Aman Verma and Smita Bansal in key parts.
