First-time filmmaker Arjun Yashwantrao Gujar's Lagan to be released on 6 May; see video

First-time filmmaker Arjun Yashwantrao Gujar's upcoming film Lagan is set to be released in theatres on 6 May.

The makers announced the release date with a short clip, which shows a woman stepping out of a prison house. Then we see a man stepping out of a puddle completely drenched in mud and dirt.

The makers have kept the details of the film's cast under wraps.

Gujar has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.

The film's music has been composed by Vijay Gavande, Rohit Nagbhide and P Shankaram who have also composed the background score. Sopan Purandare and Ranjit Mane have shot the film.

A few months ago, the makers had shared the film's motion poster which showed a man sitting behind a woman riding a horse. This suggested that this is another romantic drama film where a woman will take charge.

Lagan is being produced by Gujar Brothers Entertainment and will be distributed by Sunshine Studios.
