The organizers of the 20th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) have announced its dates on Twitter.

They tweeted, “And better than ever! We’re thrilled to share the news that IFFLA will host its 20th-anniversary festival in person from April 28th to May 1st.”

Speaking about the event, festival director Christina Marouda told Cinestaan.com, “This year marks our 20th anniversary. We are beyond thrilled to be able to come back with an in person festival after two years of virtual presentations, and celebrate with our filmmakers and audiences the way we all love: watching films on a big screen and discussing them in person!”

IFFLA aims to showcase independent films from India and the Indian diaspora. The previous edition of the festival was held virtually from 20 to 27 May and was geo-blocked to California. It featured a total of 40 films, which included 21 short films.
