Indranil Roychowdhury's documentary series Mukhyamantri is now on Hoichoi

Indranil Roychowdhury’s recent documentary series Mukhyamantri was premiered on Hoichoi on 25 February.
Created and produced by ABP Studios, the documentary series aims at introducing the ordinary viewer to the landscape of Bengal politics.
The series also analyses the modern political history of the state of West Bengal through the tenures of eight chief ministers since 1947.
Mukhyamantri has been jointly presented by Shaoli Chattopadhyay and Pratik Dutta.
The trailer for the series shows how the documentary series traces the trajectory of West Bengal’s political history, chronologically dissecting the tenure of each chief minister from Prafulla Chandra Ghosh, who served as West Bengal’s first chief minister after Independence, till the dramatic rise of current chief minister Mamata Banerjee.
Known for his award-winning debut feature film Phoring (2013), Roychowdhury has produced and directed multiple award-winning films since, including Ekti Bangali Bhooter Goppo (2015), Bhalobashar Shohor (2016), The Lovely Mrs Mukherjee (2019) and Mayar Jonjal (2020).
