Shah Rukh Khan flies down to Chennai for Nayanthara’s wedding, see pics

Actor Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday flew down to Chennai to attend the wedding ceremony of his Jawan (2023) co-star Nayanthara. Superstar Rajinikanth was among the A-list celebrities who were present at the event. Pictures of Khan in formal attire from the venue were shared by his manager and they’ve gone viral on social media.

Nayanthara is reportedly making her Hindi film debut in Jawan, which is being directed by Atlee, alongside Khan.

Khan arrived at the venue along with the filmmaker. A video of their cars entering the venue has surfaced on social media.

Sharing Khan’s pictures from the venue, his manager wrote: “For Nayanthara’s Special Day (sic).”

The groom, Vignesh Shivn, had revealed earlier this week that the wedding would take place in a resort in Mahabalipuram, Chennai.

He had also revealed that they had originally planned for the wedding to take place in Tirupati. However, the plan had to be cancelled due to logistical issues.

Vignesh and Nayanthara started dating each other when they worked together in the former’s second directorial venture, Naanum Rowdydhaan (2015). The film, which was a box-office hit, also featured Vijay Sethupathi.

Last year, Nayanthara confirmed that she was engaged to Vignesh on regional television while promoting her film Netrikann.

Vignesh is basking in the success of his latest release Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which turned out to be a runaway hit. The film also starred Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Nayanthara is awaiting the release of her Tamil thriller O2, which will be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 17 June.
