Release of Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 Agni Pariksha postponed to 8 July

The release of the action drama Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 Agni Pariksha (2022) has been postponed to 8 July. It was due to arrive in theatres on 17 June.

The sequel to Khuda Haafiz (2020) also reunites director Faruk Kabir and stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi.

The action star shared a short video of himself in the upcoming feature with the new release date.

It shows Jammwal in the pouring rain, in what looks like a prison, brandishing a knife at someone who is approaching him. The tagline of the film states: He will fight for his family until his last breath.

In the original, Jammwal plays Sameer, a man who moves mountains trying to find his missing wife in an unknown country. It seems as if the sequel will follow the template sent up by the original.

Written and directed by Kabir, the film features music by Mithoon and Vishal Mishra.
