This is Joshi's second feature film this year after Coffee, which also stars Siddharth Chandekar and Kashyap Parulekar.

Medium Spicy also marks Arundhati Nag's return to Marathi cinema after 40 years and features Sagar Deshmukh, Neha Joshi and Pushkaraj Chirputkar.

Medium Spicy, which has been doing the rounds at film festivals, tells the tale of a single, middle-class guy, Nissim (Prabhakar), who works at a five-star hotel. He shares a unique bond with his boss and colleague who are radically different from each other.

Produced by Vidhi Kasliwal for Landmarc Films, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on 17 June.
