‘Rangi Saari’ is one song that one can’t get out of their head because of Instagram Reels, among other things. This soulful number by Kanishk Seth and Kavita Seth has been slightly revamped as 'Rangisaari' for Dharma Productions’ Jugjugg Jeeyo (2022).
While one cannot comment enough on how soulful it sounds, the addition of hip-hop beats is lovely. Varun Dhawan looks charming in his chiselled avatar and dances perfectly.
Kiara Advani thoroughly complements him, making this song the next big party number. The duo’s sizzling chemistry is one of the major highlights of the song and it has been shot so well that it would be a treat to watch it on the big screen.
The vibrant vibes of the song coupled with its melodious sound and the stunning visuals will definitely make this version a chart-topper.
In the era of remakes, classic songs are mutilated but thankfully, this number still retains its charm and that’s got more to do with the fact that the classical vocals of the original have been unaltered.
Jugjugg Jeeyo is set to be released on 24 June and also stars Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
