Rajkummar Rao, Harshavardhan Kulkarni attend screening of Badhaai Do at Kashish

The 13th edition of the Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival opened on 1 June 2022 at Liberty Cinema. The recently released Bollywood film Badhaai Do (2022) was screened at the event, which was attended by the cast and crew of the film.

Actors Rajkummar Rao and Chum Darang and director Harshavardhan Kulkarni were in attendance. 

Speaking on the occasion, Rajkumar Rao said, “It is a proud moment for the entire team of Badhaai Do to have a screening at such a prestigious film festival. We would like to laud the efforts of Kashish and thank them for making our film a part of it.”

Festival director Sridhar Rangayan said, “It feels great to have mainstream Bollywood films like Badhaai Do communicate the message of inclusivity and acceptance which is similar to the ideology of Kashish. We would like to thank the entire cast and crew of the film for making the evening a memorable one."

The Kashish film festival will be screening 184 films from 53 countries. The festival is on till 5 June.
