Prabhas has joined hands with filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the first time for the upcoming bilingual action film Salaar. On Tuesday, the movie's latest schedule was kicked off in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. According to reliable sources, the makers are planning to shoot some major action sequences.
Prabhas and Shruti Haasan joined the sets on Tuesday.
The last schedule was wrapped up in April. A leaked still in which Prabhas can be seen lighting a cigarette from the sets of the movie went viral on social media and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.
Salaar is rumoured to be a remake of the Kannada film Ugramm (2014).
Shruti will be seen sharing screen space with Prabhas for the first time. Tipped to be an action saga, the film features Prabhas in a character called Salaar.
The makers haven’t revealed the rest of the cast and crew. Malayalam actor Prithviraj recently revealed that he was approached for a key role over two years ago. Back then, he gave his nod and was all set to immediately join the sets. However, the pandemic happened and Prithviraj got busier with his other commitments.
During the promotions of his upcoming film Kaduva, Prithviraj confirmed that he’s still trying to figure out and adjust his dates so that he could be part of Salaar.
