The shoot of Prabhas’s Telugu science-fiction film Project K is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.

The new office of Vyjayanthi Movies, the makers of the film, had its grand opening on Monday and the star-studded ceremony was attended by Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Nani, Dulquer Salmaan and filmmaker Prashanth Neel.

Legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao was also one of the guests along with Project K director Nag Ashwin.

In a video clip that surfaced from the launch ceremony, the guests can be seen having a fun conversation.

Project K, which is gearing up for release next year, also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

The film marks the maiden collaboration of Prabhas with Nag Ashwin. It also marks the Telugu debut of Deepika Padukone.

In March, Nag Ashwin took to Twitter to seek Anand Mahindra’s support in building futuristic vehicles for the movie which is being made on a lavish budget. He went on to add that what they are attempting in the movie could make the nation proud.

The filmmaker further wrote: “I admire you a lot sir..v have a talented, fully Indian team of engineers and designers. But the scale of the project is such that we could use a hand. Such a film has never been attempted before...it would be an honour if you can help us engineer the future (sic).”
