Arjunn Dutta's Abyakto to be streamed on Eros Now from 29 June


Starring Arpita Chatterjee, Adil Hussain and Anubhav Kanjilal, the film is centred on a complex mother-son relationship.

Arjunn Dutta’s Abyakto, starring Arpita Chatterjee and Adil Hussain, will be premiered on Eros Now on 29 June.

Actor Anubhav Sinha was launched in the film which had its theatrical release on 31 January 2020 and is Dutta's maiden feature film.

Anirban Ghosh and veteran actress Lily Chakravorty play crucial roles in the film, which is centred on the complex relationship between a mother and son.

Abyakto was premiered at the 24th Kolkata International Film Festival in 2018 and was also screened at the 49th International Film Festival of India (Goa) and the third Singapore South Asian International Film Festival in 2019. 

Speaking of the OTT release, the director said, “Abyakto is a story of a mother and son and raises pertinent issues that are never spoken about in our society. Our entire team has made an honest film with a lot of passion, and I am sure it is going to touch hearts. I am grateful to Eros Now for giving us a perfect platform to showcase our film.’’

Dutta’s upcoming film Shrimati, starring Swastika Mukherjee and Soham Chakraborty, will be released in theatres on 8 July.
