Kamal Haasan's Vikram is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office even as the film completed its fourth week in cinemas. The film has dethroned SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) to become the highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu. It has also entered the Rs400 crore club worldwide and has become the second Tamil film after Rajinikanth’s 2.0 (2018) to achieve this feat.
The film, which was dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam, stars Kamal Haasan as the former agent Vikram who sets out to avenge the death of his son, an undercover officer in the narcotics bureau.
Trade sources have confirmed that the film is having a phenomenal run.

Meanwhile, the entire team is buoyed by the film’s success. Two weeks ago, Kamal Haasan met the media in Chennai and said he was thrilled with the response to the movie. He said that its success will only motivate the team to work harder on their next project together.
He thanked actor Suriya for accepting the offer to play a 10-minute cameo in the movie.
Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj will reunite for the next part of the Vikram franchise next year.
Vikram has emerged as the biggest grossing film in Kamal Haasan’s career. Kamal now has plans to revive shelved projects such as Sabaash Naidu and Marmayogi.
