Filmmaker and co-founder of the Gujarati over-the-top (OTT) platform OHO Gujarati Abhishek Jain is set to present a thriller web-series, Missing, which will be released on his platform.

The show, which stars Deeksha Joshi and Yash Soni, was announced a year after Jain came up with the OHO Gujarati show Vitthal Teedi (2021)

The teaser of Missing shows Joshi’s character being abducted in Ahmedabad by Soni and kept in a dilapidated house on the outskirts of the city. One can’t miss the woman’s admiration for her abductor.

Speaking about his reasons for directing the show, Jain said in a statement, “A script that spoke to me and left everyone awestruck during the narrations is Missing. Missing is not based on a real story but is inspired by many real stories.”

OHO Gujarati is known for coming up with light-hearted and moving tales, but it is taking a different route with Missing. “Until now, we have created relatable, heart-warming and amusing stories that society would accept, but now it's time to see our reflection as a part of society. Missing will reveal the unpleasant reality,” he added.

Missing is currently under production.
