Aritra Sen's Ghore Pherar Gaan to have world premiere at London Indian Film Festival

A story on how music brings passionate souls closer, the film will star Parambrata Chatterjee and Ishaa Saha for the first time together.

Aritra Sen’s upcoming film Ghore Pherar Gaan, starring Parambrata Chatterjee and Ishaa Saha, will be premiered at the London Indian Film Festival.

The event is slated to be held between 23 June and 3 July. Parambrata Chatterjee shared the update on Instagram, with a still from the film, featuring him and his co-star.

The actor stated in the post that the film will be screened at Cine Lumiere, London on 24 June; The Electric Cinema, Birmingham on 26 June; and at Picturehouse Central, London on 2 July. The actor will be present to interact with the audience after the last screening.

Ghore Pherar Gaan will see Parambrata Chatterjee and Saha sharing the screen together for the first time.

Also featuring Gourab Chatterjee and Anusua Majumdar, the film shows how music brings two passionate souls closer.

In the film, Saha plays Tora, who is married to Ribhu (Gourab Chatterjee), a doctor; and her mother-in-law (Majumdar) is a councillor. Unable to cope with married life, she seeks solace outside and gets acquainted with struggling but talented musician Imran (Parambrata Chatterjee), who rekindles her buried passion for music.
