Rashmika Mandanna stars opposite Vijay in the film. The poster carries the caption, 'The boss returns'.
The film’s shoot has been progressing briskly over the past few months. If everything goes well, the project could be released in cinemas in time for the Deepavali festival this year. The makers also plan to dub and release the film in Hindi.
Vijay was seen on screen earlier this year in the Tamil film Beast (2022), which marked the fifth time a Vijay-starrer had entered the Rs200 crore club.
That film was also dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. The Hindi version turned out to be dud, earning just Rs50 lakh on its first day and never showing any upward trend thereafter.
