ZolZaal's teaser hinted that the film is packed with painfully silly one-liners and uninspired characters and now the new two-and-a-half-minute trailer leaves no doubt that the film is just a collection of unfunny comedy sketches woven together in the name of the screenplay.
Balwant Patil (Manoj Joshi) is the owner of a palace in Pune, which the Indian government plans to declare a World Heritage Site. Many are eyeing this palace, including a businessman Samba (Mangesh Desai) and a don (Kushal Badrike). Ajinkya Deo's character is devising a plan of his own. Making matters even more complicated, Balwant has two useless sons, played by Ruturaj Phadke and Amol Kagne, who also stake a claim on the property.
The trailer has only one or two decent one-liners but it mostly falls completely flat. The film features Sayaji Shinde, Uday Nene, Uday Tikekar, Pritam Kagne, Supriya Karnik, Priyanka Kholgade, Isha Agrawal, Alisha Farer and Saisha Pathak.
Produced by Gopal Agarwal, Anand Gupta and Sanjana Agarwal, ZolZaal will arrive in cinemas on 1 July.
