The short, which has been written by Sandesh Kulkarni, who also plays an important role in the film, is about the relationship between a woman Rakhma (Jyoti) and her daughter-in-law Ketaki (Amruta). The latter, who has a young child, has just lost her husband and this has created some tension in their relationship. Soon, a man enters Ketaki's life, which gives rise to new problems.

Speaking about the film, Amruta said, "The film comments on the vicious cycle of our society to carry forward the same mental torture from one generation to another. The mother-in-law who had to go through all kinds of torture in her young days ends up doing the same to her daughter-in-law."

Khamkar believes that her experience as a choreographer came in handy during the shoot. "Along with talented artistes, I also got strong support from my entire team, including my DOP Amol Gole, editor Kshiti Khandagale and music composer Nilesh Mohrir," she said.
