'Bhul Koreche Bhul', the first song from Sudeep Das’s upcoming film Kuler Achaar, has been rendered by popular Bangladeshi singer and YouTube sensation Mahtim Shakib and Madhubanti Bagchi.
Written and composed by Prasen and Mainak Mazoomdar, the soothing romantic number has been picturized on Vikram Chatterjee and Madhumita Sarcar, who play a married couple in the film.
'Bhul Koreche Bhul' depicts the ups and downs of married life. While the lyrics lend a sense of nostalgia and melancholy to the song, the visuals show them individually reflecting on the times when they misunderstood each other and held grudges, only to repent later.
The singers’ vocals fill the composition with tenderness, and the strong emotional attachment between Chatterjee and Sarcar's characters is evident from the visuals.
Speaking about the track, Shakib said, “The song is so beautifully composed and written that it gave me a different energy while I sang it. It feels surreal to receive such appreciation from listeners.”
The singer hopes that the number will be a treat for audiences who are fond of melodious and soothing tracks. “I am thankful that I got the opportunity to sing such a hearty song again but this time along with Madhubanti Bagchi,” added the singer.
Actress Madhumita Sarcar is in love with the song and according to her, SVF Entertainment, which is backing the film, never fails to amaze with its choice of singers.
“The vocals are soothing and emotional, and it's just the perfect blend. I am excited to learn the audience’s reaction after watching the video and thrilled to see them in theatres soon,” said the actress.
Kuler Achaar is slated to be released in theatres on 15 July.
