Actor Chiranjeevi, who never misses out on an opportunity to appreciate good cinema, has been impressed by Adivi Sesh’s Major. Having watched the film recently, he met and spent time with the team behind the project and also hosted them for lunch. He even took to Twitter to praise the film, which he described as an emotion.

Chiranjeevi lauded Mahesh Babu, who co-produced the movie, for backing such a purposeful film.

Sesh was overwhelmed by the veteran actor’s gesture and called it an honour to be recognized by a star of his stature.

Produced by Mahesh Babu, Major follows the story of a soldier — the late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan — who sacrificed his life while foiling the dastardly 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Besides playing the lead role, Sesh has also written the film and he had called this his pet project at the trailer launch.

The film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, has reportedly grossed over ₹42.5 crore in cinemas across the world.

Major also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar and Murali Sharma.
