Sher Bagga, starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, gets new release date

The Punjabi-language feature will arrive in theatres on 24 June.

Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the Punjabi-language film Sher Bagga has been given a new release date. The film was originally to arrive in theatres on 10 June. However, the creators decided to push the release date in the wake of the death of Punjabi singer and actor Sidhu Moosewala.

Sidhu shared the new release date, 24 June, on Instagram with his fans.

Presented by Daljit Thind and Virk, Sher Bagga is backed by Thind Motion Films and Ammy Virk Productions. The trailer portrays Sonam Bajwa’s character having an unplanned pregnancy and both Virk and Bajwa falling to pieces because of the unexpected news.

The much anticipated romantic comedy will be watched quite closely as Virk’s previous release Saunkan Saunkne (2022) has performed beyond expectations and shattered box-office records.
