Raghuvir Yadav looks on worriedly at Deepika Singh, Tushar Pandey in Titu Ambani poster

Well-known television actress Deepika Singh will make her film debut in Titu Ambani. The first poster of the film, which was recently released, shows her with her husband-to-be in the film (Tushar Pandey) dressed as a bride and a groom. 

The poster also shows veteran artiste Raghuvir Yadav with his bicycle giving a serious look to the couple. It seems he plays a key role in the film. 

Titu Ambani, which is directed by Singh’s husband Rohit Goyal, will see the actress play Moushumi, a woman who believes in living her life on her own terms. The actress is known for her character Sandhya in the television serial Diya Aur Baati Hum. 

A statement from the makers read, “Wanting to spend life with her love Titu, Moushumi feels that Titu and she are made for each other but troubles arise when Titu’s decisions threaten their love relationship (sic).” 

Goyal said, “In modern society, we still talk about the equality for both girls and boys, but in practice, it is not so. Can girls fulfil the responsibility of their mother and father after marriage? A lot of changes happen with girls. You will get to see this in the film Titu Ambani, as well as what the audience gets from the shortcut to get success.” 

The film also stars Sapna Sand, Virendra Saxena, Samta Sagar and Brijendra Kala. 

Produced under the banner of Sabal Productions, Titu Ambani will be released in theatres on 8 July.
