Nagarjuna looks fierce and confident as Anish in Brahmastra; see motion poster

The casting of veteran actor Nagarjuna in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva came as a surprise. His character poster is the latest to come and it has been revealed that he plays Anish, who is known for his Nandi Astra. 

Nagarjuna looks fierce and strong in the poster which has powerful background music.

Mukerji shared the poster on Instagram, writing, “When I grow up (finally), I would want to be like Nagarjuna Garu (Nag Sir, to me). A gentleman with the warmest of hearts!! He entered the world of Brahmāstra and gave his fierce intensity to our movie; touched our entire crew with his kindness and generosity; and greatly added to our dream - of creating a truly pan-India movie experience with Brahmāstra!”

He added, “His Nandi Astra, in my opinion, is one of the highlights of our movie! Some of that in our trailer on June 15th!!” 

The Hindi-language fantasy adventure film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy. 

A few days ago, the makers revealed Bachchan's character, Guru, on social media.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Brahmastra will be released in theatres on 9 September.
