Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan wrapped up shooting for their upcoming thriller Vikram Vedha yesterday.

The film, which went on the floors last year, is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil hit of the same name that was released in 2017, starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.

Sharing pictures from the sets on social media, Hrithik wrote, “As we called it a wrap on set, my mind is flooded with all the happy memories, testing times, action, thrill and hard work we all have put into Vikram Vedha. Doing a little excited-nervous dance in my head today… as we inch closer to our release date. See you at the cinemas.”

The film has been directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, who also helmed the original film. The remake marks their Hindi film debut.

The movie tells the story of a determined and tough cop Vikram, played by Khan, who makes several failed attempts to nab the dreaded criminal Vedha, essayed by Hrithik. But one day, Vedha turns himself in. The case, however, isn’t as simple as it looks like. The Tamil film saw Madhavan and Sethupathi play Vikram and Vedha respectively.

Also starring Radhika Apte, Sharib Hashmi, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani, Vikram Vedha is due to be released in theatres on 30 September.
