Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram (2022), which marks Kamal Haasan's most successful comeback, is on a box-office rampage and there’s no stopping the film’s phenomenal run. Having already minted over Rs200 crore worldwide, it was revealed on Friday that the film has collected over Rs100 crore from Tamil Nadu alone.
Industry tracker Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to write, “At the end of the 1st week, #Vikram has joined the TN ₹100 crs gross club. A remarkable achievement (sic).”

The entire team is buoyed by the film’s success. On Thursday, Kamal met the media in Chennai and said he was thrilled with the response to the movie. He said that the film's success will only motivate them to work harder on their next collaboration.
The senior actor gifted a Lexus to the young director for making Vikram a huge success on Tuesday.

The film, which was dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam, sees Kamal reprise his role from the 1986 film of the same name.
