Alia Bhatt to talk about joining Kapoor family on Koffee With Karan (Season 7)

Months after her unexpected and small wedding, Alia Bhatt will open up about her marriage to her Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022) co-star Ranbir Kapoor. The actress and actor Ranveer Singh will be seen in the first episode of the new season of Koffee With Karan (Season 7) to discuss relationships and marriages with her Gully Boy (2019) co-star.

Bhatt and Kapoor both come from film families. Alia is the granddaughter of filmmaker Nanabhai Bhatt and the daughter of writer-director Mahesh and actress Soni Razdan. Ranbir, of course, is part of the fourth generation of the illustrious Kapoor clan, following his father Rishi, grandfather Raj and great-grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor.

Speaking about joining the loud and boisterous family, Alia shared, “I have been brought up between me, my mum, my sister and my father. That was it. Our interaction was very limited. We were a very close family, but we were not a big family. We did not have these massive celebrations or get-togethers. Everybody did their own thing.”

She continued, “Enter the Kapoor family, where everyone does everything together. You eat together, do aarti together, everything is done together. It was cute. I have been through so many moments of culture and family because of the Kapoor family that it has given me a totally new layer in my life.”

Bhatt and Singh will play new games in the upcoming episode, including Koffee Bingo, Mashed Up, along with the all-time favourite rapid-fire ,on 7 July at 7 pm. The show is being streamed exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
