Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya, starring Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta, is all set to be released on 8 July. The film features the leads as lovers who then become rivals in love, due to a misunderstanding.
The song ‘Saheli’ from the film has been composed and sung by Bhullar and the music director is Chet Singh. The track comes at the point when the lead pair decides to engage in a show of one-upmanship to outdo the other. As the jilted lover, Bhullar vows to get married to another girl, preferably a friend of Mehta’s, just to watch her burn with envy.

The slow, gentle song tells of Bhullar’s intentions of getting a bride for himself. We see him scanning the crowd in a bus, taking a woman for a ride on a bicycle and even distributing sweets of presumably the wedding announcement, all in a bid to make Mehta jealous. While he is spending time with other women, we see an envious Mehta, watching the scenes unfolding before her eyes.
