Tamilrockerz teaser: Aruj Vijay sets out to bring down a piracy syndicate 

Online piracy is rampant in India and all over the world, as downloading illegal content is a simple process. The government of India is taking stringent action against those who indulge in such activities but torrent sites such as Torrentrockers are still rampant. 

SonyLIV is coming up with a Tamil series that will show how the titular group of pirates got its just desserts. The teaser shows us how the infamous group became a huge problem for the Tamil film industry and the more than five lakh people whose livelihood depends on it.

After the pirates publicly announce their plan to leak a massively budgeted and highly anticipated film, Arun Vijay, who plays a cop, is tasked with finding out who runs the anonymous network and shutting down their whole operation. It's quite evident from the teaser that, even though the series is based on a real incident,  we will get to see a lot of edge-of-the-seat action and thrilling scenes.

Tamilrockerz is directed by Arivazhagan, with whom Arun Vijay has previously worked in Kuttram 23 (2017) and the upcoming action thriller Borrder (2022). Produced by AVM Productions, the series also stars Vani Bhojan, Iswarya Menon, Azhagam Perumal, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and MS Bhaskar.
