After Runway 34, Ajay Devgn’s next directorial venture Bholaa goes on floors

It has been just a few months since Ajay Devgn’s directorial venture Runway 34 (2022) hit the screens and the actor has even started filming his next project as a director. Titled Bholaa, the film will see him star alongside Tabu once again. 

This is Devgn’s fourth film as a director after U Me Aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016) and Runway 34. The actor has played the leading man in all his directorial ventures so far. 

Bholaa has already gone on floors and the shoot is expected to be completed by 20 August. 

Sharing the reason for things moving so quickly, Devgn said in a statement, “Well the preparation was done earlier on. It was just a question of getting behind the camera again and saying the three magic words — lights, camera, action!” The makers have said that Bholaa is a “high-octane strong emotional drama.” 

Devgn and Tabu last teamed up in De De Pyaar De (2019), which was a success at the box office. The two will also be seen in the Hindi remake of Drishyam 2 in which they will continue playing their characters from the first film of the franchise Drishyam (2015). Drishyam 2 is slated to be released on 18 November. 

Bholaa will arrive in cinemas on 30 March 2023.
