Vijay Deverakonda dazzles in Liger poster

There’s been quite some anticipation around Liger, ever since the film was announced. The film marks South sensation Vijay Deverakonda’s big Hindi debut and it will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. 

The makers recently released a poster featuring Vijay in character. The actor shared the image on Instagram and wrote, “A film that took my everything! As a performance — mentally and physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming Soon.” 

The picture sees the actor baring almost everything while ‘saala crossbreed’ is written across the image.

Lead actress Ananya Panday wrote on Instagram, “The temperature is rising all over India today.”

The Arjun Reddy (2017) star plays a kickboxer with a stutter in the film and has gone through immense physical training and prep for his role. Legendary heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson is also set to have an extended cameo in Liger which is produced by Karan Johar and Puri Jagannadh and also directed by the latter.

Jagannadh and Deverakonda will team up again for JGM (2023).

Liger is set to be released on 25 August.
