Zee5’s feel-good series, Paper Rocket (2022), written and directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and produced by Sreenidhi Sagar of Rise East Production, is due to be premiered on the streaming platform on 29 July.
The Tamil and Telugu show, which is centred on human emotions, stars Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya S Ravichandran. The series takes a philosophical approach to life and focuses on finding happiness in every aspect of life.
The trailer launch for the web-series was held in Chennai last week with several personalities like actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, actor Silambarasan, filmmakers Mysskin and Mari Selvaraj in attendance.
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who makes her digital debut with the show, stated, “Paper Rocket is special and close to my heart. The entire process of materializing this series endowed upon me an enjoyable experience. This show involves some of the biggest names in the industry.”

Actor Kalidas Jayaram thanked Kamal Hassan sir for revealing the trailer of Paper Rocket. "I am overjoyed listening to his heartiest appreciation. I enjoyed myself a lot while acting in this series. Everyone should watch this series, as it will instil a feel-good experience in all,” the actor said.
His co-lead Tanya S Ravichandran said she felt really happy while working in this series. "It was more like taking a meaningful and valuable trip. I thank everyone in the team for making my experience so good,” the actress said.
Paper Rocket also features K Renuka, Karunakaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Gouri G Kishan, Dheeraj, Nagineedu V, Chinni Jayanth, Kaali Venkat, Poornima Bhagyaraj, GM Kumar, Abhishek Shankar, Priyadharshini Rajkumar and Sujatha.
