It felt like a real family: Actor Vishal Vashistha on working with the cast of Ghar Waapsi

Disney+ Hotstar's Ghar Waapsi (2022) shows a young man's journey of self-discovery and his choices between work and family once he has to return home. The family drama, which high on emotions, stars Vishal Vashishtha.

The actor spoke about how he bonded so well with his reel family. He shared, “The entire time we spent at Dwivedi house, all of us felt like it was our own home. All five of us actually used to sit in the small lawn and just chat. This is where we would take tea breaks in the evening too. It felt like a family for real. After we wrapped up, the entire crew was missing this wholesomeness of the Dwivedi house."

Ghar Waapsi also stars Akansha Thakur, Atul Shrivastava, Vibha Chibber, Saad Bilgtami and Anushka Kaushik, along with Vashishtha. The six-episode series is directed by Ruchir Arun whose last project was Unpaused: Naya Safar (2022) with Saqib Saleem. The director also won a National award in the short film category and a special jury award for his film Mandrake Mandrake! in 2014.

Ghar Waapsi premiered on the streaming platform on 22 July.
