Working in Ithaar was one of the best experiences of my life, says actor Abhinay Banker

Sahil D Gada's web-series Ithaar (2022) premiered on OHO Gujarati on 15 July. The five-episode series starring Abhinay Banker and Bhamini Oza Gandhi features the lead pair as a long-term couple.

The trailer shows Ishaan (Banker) and Disha (Oza) who have been in a long-distance relationship for almost five years. But things have begun to change recently and they don't share the same bond anymore. Their connection is steadily changing, fondness is decreasing, conversations are withering, and slowly, they have started feeling an emotional distance. 

Speaking about the Gujarati series, director Gada said that it is a simple story that deals with a complex character. He shared, "It deals with a situation, and the play and balance between these spaces were great fun. Ithaar has given me one of the most fruitful and interesting collaborations with the actors. It was the three of us, in a tight-knit way to figure out how we want to tell this story on screen."

Acting in this series was one of the best experiences of Abhinay Banker's life. He stated, "When I got the script of Ithaar, I also got freedom with it, as an actor it is very important that the director and writer give you creative space to portray the character as per your imagination and thought process. With such a great team I got the greatest actor Bhamini Oza Gandhi whom I have known for years through theatre but never got a chance to work with her. Working in this series was one of the best experiences of my life."

Ithaar, written by Kashyap Vyas, is produced by Nayan Jain, Abhishek Jain, Amit Desai, and Suryadeep Basiya.
