Delhi Crime (Season 2) teaser: Shefali Shah’s DCP Vartika Chaturvedi attempts to foil evildoers with understaffed police force

Shefali Shah returns as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the second season of Netflix's hit crime drama Delhi Crime. While the first season was set in the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder, the new season seems to be about the problems faced by the understaffed police force.

The teaser shows Vartika being worried about rising crime in Delhi because of economic disparity in society. The teaser, however, doesn't reveal much about the specific crime the series is going to explore in this season. 

We also see Rasika Duggal, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj and Gopal Dutt reprise their roles.

Created by Richie Mehta and directed by Tanuj Chopra, Delhi Crime will return on Netflix on 26 August.
