The trailer of Fakt Mahilao Maate (2022), directed by first-time filmmaker Jay Bodas, sees actor Yash Soni in a hilarious predicament. Soni plays Chintan Parikh, a young man who lives with his grandmother, mother and sister and suddenly discovers he can hear the thoughts of women around him.
While the trailer gives us an idea of the subject of the film, we are yet to meet the character played by Amitabh Bachchan. His voice is only heard in the trailer.

Producer Anand Pandit stated, “I always wanted to make a family entertainer in Gujarati and the first name that came to my mind was only Amitabh Bachchan. I am most fortunate that he agreed to come on board to not just play a cameo but to lend his magical voice to the narration of the film! What took me by surprise was his perfect Gujarati diction.”
He continued, “Even though I suggested that we could dub his portions, he very humbly said, 'Aap pehle hamara kaam dekhiye! [See my work first!]' I should have known better than to suggest he take a shortcut in his work. I am very happy that he is a part of Fakt Mahilao Maate.
Bodas added, “I never thought my debut would star Mr Amitabh Bachchan. This film has all the flavour of family entertainment. This is a film for everyone in the family.”
Fakt Mahilao Maate also stars Deeksha Joshi, Tarjanee Bhadla, Kalpana Gagdekar, Bhavini Janii, Deep Vaidya. The Gujarati film, which features music by Bhargav and Kedar, is due to be released on 19 August.
