RK/RKay song 'Meri Jaan': Shaan's soothing vocals elevate this melancholic tune

After the release of RK/RKay's quirky and intriguing trailer, its makers on Wednesday unveiled the first song from the film, 'Meri Jaan'.

Composed by Sagar Desai and sung by Shaan, this slow track immediately grabs your attention with its melancholic tone and reminds you of the classics of the 1960s. 

Shaan, who is sort of making a comeback to Hindi cinema with this song, once again proves why he was one of the most loved playback singers not a long time ago. Hussain Haidry's lyrics are quite simple yet profound. 

The visuals of the songs show Ranjit Kapoor's on-screen and off-screen troubles. The song brings the audience close to the theme of the film with the cast and the crew who are hunting for their missing hero.

Produced by Kapoor’s Mithya Talkies and Priyanshi Film & Entertainment, RK/RKay will be released in theatres on 22 July.
