Abhay Mahajan's Trijya will have its digital premiere on the online platform MUBI on 23 July.
The makers announced the date of the film's premiere on the platform on social media.
Helmed by award-winning filmmaker Akshay Indikar, the film had its world premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival 2019 and was also the first and only Marathi film to be screened at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
Trijya tells a story of a young Indian poet who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. The film also stars Shrikant Yadav, Prashant Gite, Anjali Joglekar, Aarya Rothe and Girish Kulkarni.
Trijya, which is a joint production of Chitrakathi Nirmitee and Bombay Berlin Film Productions, has garnered appreciation for its cinematography, sound design and spontaneous performances by all the artistes. The film's sound designer Mandar Kamalapurkar bagged the award for Best Audiography at the 67th National Film Awards.
