Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh shared the title and image of his new EP [extended play record] Drive Thru on social media on his birthday, which was yesterday.
The artwork has an almost sci-fi, psychedelic quality and features a flying car with the number plate Moon Child on it. The reference is to Dosanjh’s previous album, Moon Child Era, which was released in August 2021.
The actor shared the poster on Instagram along with a 'tracklist' that contained images of a peach, a red chilli, a bowl of noodles, a lemon and a bowl of ice cream, possibly hinting at the names of songs in the album.
Dosanjh also shared the names of the people who will be involved in the making of the album, which includes lyricists Raj Ranjodh and Channi Nattan and music producer Intense. The announcement has seen a huge response from fans already, who are eagerly awaiting Dosanjh’s next album.
