Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's father-son bromance will be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 26 January, Republic Day.
The film, directed by Prithviraj, also features Meena, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Soubin Shahir, Lalu Alex and Unni Mukundan.
The trailer for the film captures the sense of freewheeling comedy and wit that seems to be its tone. Mohanlal plays a 'cool' dad, much to the embarrassment of the soon-to-be-engaged Eesho (Prithviraj). As Eesho tries his best to woo Anna (Kalyani), it is his 'bro' who remains a big obstacle. Unknown to him, there is a history that connects his and Anna's family, which adds to the confusion and hilarity.
The montage of quick wit, sharp puns and almost bumbling presence of Mohanlal add to the likeability of the trailer. The veteran seems to be in fine touch, and his chemistry with the rest of the cast makes for an interesting watch.
Soubin Shahir, Jagadish and Lalu Alex add to the humour in the scenes. The film is written by Sreejith N, Bibin Maleikal and Sajeev Pazhoor and marks Prithviraj's second film as director. Shooting for the film began in July last year in Hyderabad and the actor-director had described the film as one audiences would want to 'revisit'.
Bro Daddy has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to watch this film.
