Badlee teaser: A teacher struggles to save his school with only two students

Ever heard of a school with only two students? It might seem implausible to urban Indians, but this is the reality of many a primary school in the Marathi medium in hamlets in Maharashtra. Planet Marathi OTT's upcoming web-series Badlee sheds light on this serious issue.

The short teaser for the series begins with a newly appointed teacher (Amol Deshmukh) arriving at a school which should have had nine students but is left with just two. The mother of a girl student is reluctant to send her to school while the guardian of another boy plans to send him to a better school in the city. If the teacher can't find a solution quickly, the school is in danger of being shut forever.

Written and directed by Nitin Pawar, the web-series also stars Megha Ghadge, Vrad Bhandare, Chaya Sangavkar, Om Panaskar and Shreyas Katake.

Akshay Bardapurkar, founder of Planet Marathi OTT, said, "We always try to give something unique to our audience. We have already come up with content based on different topics.
