Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma's first venture with Netflix, I'm Not Done Yet, will be premiered on the OTT platform on 28 January. The project was announced in January 2021.
The project marks the comedian's maiden collaboration with the platform. While Netflix has already done stand-up specials headlined by Vir Das, Kanan Gill, Prashasti Singh and Kaneez Surka, among others, this is the first time the platform will put out a largely Hindi special.

In the introduction to the special feature, Sharma describes the decision to collaborate with Netflix on the project. "They told me they wanted to hear my story, and I said, 'Seriously?'', he says in the short snippet.
Netflix also released a glimpse of the comedian's performance where he goes on to elaborate on his infamous 'drunk tweets' which caused a furore back in 2018. Sharma reportedly went on a controversial rant on Twitter following which he took time off to 'recuperate'.
